Bug Description

I was trying to reproduce the bug 1122938, but can't reproduce the bug, but getting new problem.

I created the image 1920x1080 (see attachment). I am using 1680x1050 screen. Pinta 1.5 latest-development-preview (from end of last year) on Windows XP.

1. Open Image.
2. Zoom to 100%.
3. Pan from Tools and try moving image around. No noticeable delay.
4. Zoom to 500% and using Pan. No noticeable delay.
5. Zoom to 1200% and using Pan. No noticeable delay.
6. Zoom to 1600% and using Pan. No noticeable delay. Try to grab red line to see what is moving.
7. Zoom to 2400% and using Pan. canvas is no longer refreshing. For example if clicking on Open button from toolbar and clicking on Cancel button then Open Image File is still visible on canvas - but it should be hidden. I checked the Windows Task Manager and I see CPU at 0%, so nothing is happening, just canvas lost refreshing.

I can't reproduce this, but the Pan tool is kind of laggy on my machine now.

I retested on Windows XP with Pinta from source code marked with tag "Pinta-release-1.5" and I can no longer reproduce the problem. But as I see Pan tool is laggy in my case in 100% zoom already.

P.S. You can probably lower the importance of this bug.

Ahhhh, in this case the "lagging" problem is then identical to already reported bug 1122938. I am marking this bug as a duplicate.
