Bug Description

I am running 64bit Linux Mint 13 (MATE edition) on a i7 core machine. When I try to open 'File Browser' via Do, a new task in the taskbar is openened stating: 'Opening File Browser'. That's where it ends. Nothing will happen. When I start the File Browser via the menu there is no problem. Also this problem does not occur with any other application which I try to open using Do. I always use Do to call all my programs and for the rest I am very satified about the functionality. I can reproduce the issue at any given time. In case further information is needed please contact me.

Could you please quit Do, re-run it in a terminal with “gnome-do
--debug”, reproduce this bug and then attach the full output Do has
produced? This should help find what's going wrong here.

The error is because your bookmarks file isn't there, for some reason. Execute the following in a terminal and that should fix it.

touch ~/.gtk-bookmarks

There are still a few errors shown, with the Firefox Bookmarks and Tomboy
plugins, but that's unrelated. Nothing shows in the terminal when you
reproduce this bug?

Hi Chris,

The following happens:

- I start Do in debug mode.
- all the logging that I sent you appears.
- I call File browser using Do
- no logging gets added.

To my opinion this means the call to File Browser is not even made. I can't reproduce this for any other application. Again, starting File Browser via the menu shows no problems.

I am confused. Thanks a lot for the efforts you put into this!

Best regards,
David.
