Builds are available in my ppa [1].

It doesn't build on arm but I think this is a bug in builders not in code.

As the previous version built on arm* and powerpc, I'm reluctant to backport until that's at least fixed in the devel release.

Although, if there's a pressing need for x86 backports, I'd conditionally backport it if there is work happening to fix the other archs and there will be another request later to allow them to build as well.

Hi Micah, unfortunately we don't have this kind of problem in debian

the main difference I see is the gcc version 4.6 in debian and 4.7 in raring.

So I personally think the backport will just be fine because of the similar gcc version.
What do you think about?
Could you give it a try and otherwise delete it?
In the next few days the new hedgewars 0.9.19 will be released, so this problem will be disapperar (I hope) with the next release

This didn't get solved before raring release, so I think we ought to just go ahead. We can look into a 0.9.19 backport once it's in saucy. Approved.

Hi Scott, what do you think about adding this patch too (in raring prior)

That bug seems severe enough to delay the backports.
Let's continue discussion in the bug report you mentioned.
