Can't go back with Ctrl + Z

If I edit a note I can't go back with Ctrl + Z if I delete something by a mistake or use other Ctrl shortcuts with this program.

Hi Louis,

I confirm that Xpad v4.1 does not have an undo function. However, I know that Sergei Riaguzov (one of the Xpad developers), has been working on implementing the undo functionality.

In a short test, I noticed that the current version in development 4.2, has this option. However, the stability of this option is unknown. So, the functionality is like to come in v4.2.

If you are really impatient, you can download, compile and install the development version and give us your feedback.

Indeed there might be bugs in the algorithm (xpad-undo.c) in
xpad_undo_insert_text and such. Unfortunately adding Undo to GTK text
screen is pretty hard. However all the code about the undo is in
xpad-undo.h and xpad-undo.c with some bindings in other files so it can be
easily located and fixed if testing will show that something is broken
(which as well might be).

Agreed.

Since the status is unknown, the stability must be tested during the testfase, before the release.
