Bug Description
The current version of libtxc_dxtn_s2tc0 ( libtxc-dxtn-s2tc0 0~git20110809-3 ) causes etqw (Enemy Territory Quake Wars) to crash. After i manually installed deb-package version 0~git20121217-1 from the Debian site, it works perfectly! See also this post: https:/
This was tested on Ubuntu 12.10:
geert@MSI-
Linux MSI-linux-PC 3.5.0-22-generic #34-Ubuntu SMP Tue Jan 8 21:47:00 UTC 2013 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
I use the FOSS radeon driver on an AMD 6850 graphics card.

The following commit https:/ /github. com/divVerent/ s2tc/commit/ 57881ec6cd80f81 e8f434ab02b9c42 a9609cd7e5 anonscm. debian. org/gitweb/ ?p=collab- maint/s2tc. git;a=summary
is also related to texture bugs with gallium drivers. I uploaded the new version to debian collab-maint and will have it in debian in the next few days http://
So if the currently responsible person on ubuntu considers a sync for this patch I suggest waiting till the second one is in.
