Bug Description
I recently upgraded from Edgy to Feisty (I am running amd64) and noticed my adesklets were no longer coming up. I currently have 0.6.1-2build1 installed. Running adesklets --nautilus did nothing. So I deleted my .adesklets file and tried to re-register my weatherforecast desklet. Here is the error I recieved.
posh@posh:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "./weatherforec

File "/usr/lib/
from adesklets.
File "/usr/lib/
from children_handler import _Children_handler
File "/usr/lib/
from signal_handler import Signal_handler
File "/usr/lib/
class Signal_handler:
File "/usr/lib/
func = posix_signal.signal
AttributeError: 'module' object has no attribute 'signal'
Using update-alternatives I switched my default python to python2.4 and everything worked. So it appears to be something related to 2.5. Maybe something with posix_signal.so. I checked and I do have the file /usr/lib/
