There is no Russian translation of the Help

There is no Russian translation of the Help. I have done it (included). Please check it and include into package.

Hi,

I have had update from daily PPA, but the help is not translated.
Please, see attached screenshot (in the native initial GTG's tasks
file and in my task list both).

If I start GTG from the console, I have some messages and warnings,
please, see below. But I have not feel any promlems in GTG using.

No, such directory does not exist. Sorry, I want, but don't wrote it

oki, the russian localization didn't installed. Which version of GTG do you use?

If you use debian based distro, run "dpkg -L gtg | grep help" and it tell you which files of help for GTG exists (look for ru translation)

The output of "dpkg -L gtg |grep help |grep ru" is empty, the "dpkg -L
gtg |grep help" returns only /usr/share/help/C/gtg :(

I checked 0.3.r1272~quantal1 and the translation is there. Please update GTG and it should work.

I have done update to 0.3.r1272~quantal1 and the result is the same -
help is in English.

But folder /usr/share/help/ru/gtg was created and contains files now.
Files are translated into Russian.

Okay, we have something at least. Please run command

xdg-open help:gtg

It opens help based on your locales. You can compare it e.g. with gedit

Does both of them open in the same language? Could you try to restart your computer?

NotUNIX way... :) But the situation is the same after restart.

May be I have done some errors in the translation? To check up once
more I start "yelp /usr/share/help/ru/gtg/" and have seen proper
Russian help.

I am running low on ideas what could be wrong.

I skimmed specification for the help and it should be alright. Maybe this.

echo $XDG_DATA_DIRS

Do you have help folder in any of those folders? Maybe you have
installed GTG locally (/usr/local instead of /usr) and now it locate
local version instead of global.

Try edit /usr/share/help/C/gtg/index.page... Is the change represented
in what you see in help:gtg ?

First of all, I have updated to 1274.

My Russian help is located in /usr/share/help/ru/gtg

Yes, so I see /usr/share/help/C/gtg/index.page when I call xdg-open
help:gtg ... (

I try to explore some folders in the /usr/share/help/ru/. Most of them
contains slinks to the /usr/share/help-langpack/ru. So I do simple
probe, I copy GTG folder into the /usr/share/help-langpack/ru. The
result is the same: the help is in the English.

What can I do else to help to solve the problem?

yes, contains some folders of differnt Gnome applications, all of them
has C and localized folders with simlinks inside

It is so strange, I have Ubuntu 12.10 and it works for me... I'll try it
on a fresh new installation of Ubuntu.

Many thanks for your attention, assistance and patience. I have
checked GTG under another Ubuntu 12.10 and all help was translated
into Russian. So I belive that the problem is in my computer.

So, please change the bug status.
