v86d bug still present in 3.2.0-36-generic

This bug has been in the kernel for TWO API bumps. PLEASE FIX.

This is MAJOR/CRITICAL bug for laptops - prevention of suspension. This also affects a lot of people who have to do the workaround for the buggy plymouth splash screen.

Solution is eith (a) to FIX plymouth, (b) fix the kernel, (c) Hire Gabe Newall to kick nVIDIA's ass and fix their driver.

Either one will work for me.
