Bug Description

Binary package hint: gxine

In Edgy it was possible to maximize a gxine window, but after upgrading to Feisty the maximize-button has vanished. The taskbar right-click menu of gxine still contains an enabled "Maximize" item, but it has no effect. The window icon menu also has a "Maximize" entry, but it's disabled.
The window can be manually resized to the size it would be if it was maximized, so there seems to be no reason for this regression.

Actually the maximize button is visible for a fraction of a second when gxine starts, but then the button vanishes.

The lack of maximize-capability combined with the automatic window resizing when the aspect ratio changes makes gxine very annoying to use.
