Cannot type password into gksudo with onboard on nexus7

I run in aterminal
gksudo synaptic
the password dialog that pops up takes the window focus so that onboard cannot be used on nexus7

Hi,
Turning off the grab in gksu might help. Here is the command to enter into the terminal: disable- grab -t bool true
gconftool-2 -s /apps/gksu/
This might however have an impact on the security of the system.
