Bug Description
After updating Ubuntu 12.10 today I was prompted to restart the computer to complete the update (probably because of the kernel update). However, it was not possible to dismiss the prompt and opt to restart later: the window had no close button, and the only option was to restart.
One of the things I've always liked about ubuntu is the fact that the user is in control. Unlike in windows, in ubuntu it was possible to dismiss the update prompt and restart later if you wish to do so. I therefore think it is a mistake to not allow users to determine themselves when they wish to restart their computer.
I've attached a screenshot of the problem.
