I was upgrading Ubuntu 6.10 to Feisty with the alternative cd.

thanks for the bug report. I noticed you also filed a bug against libgl1-mesa-dev bug 108165. It does sound like there is something up with some mesa packages. Are these from the same run. There's a good chance they have the same root cause. Could you attach the requested logs there and we'll try to figure out if they're the same thing or not.

"Are these from the same run" --> i hope i understand this right.
all my last bug reports (i think 3?) are from the same upgrade to feisty with no breaks in the installation. (and all are from the alternative cd. i forgot to write it in the other reports).

i also attach the 3 logs in the folder, like in the other reports :)

i hope really that ubuntu didn't overwrite this logs.

changed status to confimed. This appears to have been duplicated in bug 109859 and bug 110148.
Also, reassigned package to update-manager
