emacs-snapshot fails installing (byte-compiling) package flim of Ubuntu Lucid

1) purged all emacs stuff from the system. So no emacs*, emacs22*, emacs23* and no additional emacs package (modes, extensions) remain!

2) installed emacs-snapshot from ppa:cassou/emacs (as no emacs24 seems to be available for Lucid 64bit)

3) sequentially installed one additional emacs package after another. All these can be installed successfully:

4) failed to install these packages, since they all depend on package flim:

flim* mu-cite* semi* w3m-el* wl-beta*

5) installing flim fails

Wähle vormals abgewähltes Paket flim.
(Lese Datenbank ... 290022 Dateien und Verzeichnisse sind derzeit installiert.)
Entpacke flim (aus .../flim_1%3a1.14.9-4.1_all.deb) ...

Sorry for that. I'm not sure that ubuntu packages for emacs modules are compatible with emacs-snapshot. If I were you I would use an emacs package manager to install these packages. Please check http://batsov.com/articles/2012/02/19/package-management-in-emacs-the-good-the-bad-and-the-ugly/ if you need more guidance. At least, el-get has a recipe for flim.

I close this issue for now because I don't maintain packages that depend on Emacs, feel free to reopen it if you have things to add.
