Impossible d'initialiser les données sur les paquets

Un problème irrémédiable est survenu pendant l'initialisation des informations du paquet.

Veuillez signaler ce bogue du paquet « update-manager » en y joignant le message d'erreur suivant :

'E:Encountered a section with no Package: header, E:Problem with MergeList /var/lib/apt/lists/archive.canonical.com_ubuntu_dists_precise_partner_binary-i386_Packages, E:Les listes de paquets ou le fichier « status » ne peuvent être analysés ou lus.'

c'est un ASUS neuf . de toutes evidences ubuntu 12.04 c'est mal installé dès le premier démarrage . j'ai essayé de faire un test général et depuis la souris ne fonctionne plus sur mon compte utilisateur , j'envoi ce message avec le compte invité
