Bug Description

After installing Meshlab, I'd expect it to register as an available application for opening STL files from nautilus.
Apperently, it doesn't.
Furthermore, the option for choosing arbitrary programs for opening files in nautilus has vanished after the upgrade from ubuntu 12.04 to 12.10. Bummer.

What I want to accomplish is, that Meshalb opens when I double-click on an STL file in nautilus.

Fixed by throwing in a handful of additional mimetypes and by supplying the file name to the binary, to actually open a doubleclicked file.

Attached is a definition for the MIME database that goes into /usr/share/mime/packages. Afterwards update-mime-database must be run to register the mappings.
