Wrong text rendering in text object

Bug Description

Try to create new project. Then add text object into menu. Edit Text, add 10-15 symbols. Result: some symbols are invisible, other symbols are in wrong position.dvdstyler 2.3-0ubuntu1~quantal2 and 2.1-0ubuntu2, kubuntu 12.10

When I type 12 more symbols in text object, I see this bug.

The Text bug is fixed in a newer Version of DVDStyler. Actually is 2.4.3.
But there's no Repository for Quantal or Rigtail.

  * New upstream release (LP: #1132643)
  * This will fix also (LP: #1074815) and (LP: #1049113)
  * Drop fix_linkage patch as it has been applied upstream
  * fix_no_audio_input.patch: fix a bug when there is no audio in the input
    video
  * debian/control: bump Standards-version to 3.9.4. No changes requires.
