Bug Description

I had gufw and gtkorphan installed, but after updating Xubuntu to 12.10 Quantal Quetzal, with the new Configuration panel, these two applications disappeared of the menu, and they aren't in the configuration panel neither.

P.S: I tried to reinstall them but that didn't resolve this issue.

Another question: Could someone confirm this bug in a fresh install? :)

Hi! Which gufw & Xubuntu version? :)
I'm developing Gufw in Xubuntu and I see the menu entry.
Best regards!

I can confirm that, gufw's icon shows up in the settings manager on xubuntu 13.10
also super tux kart's icon appears in the menu properly
i believe this was a issue with the settings manager not liking icon names that included a file format in the .desktop file
