the app did crash by starting the application with a single mouse click

the only think i did after freesh re-install was installing my sound card and then when to system tool and click on hardinfo and then the app did start up with a grey box and nothin happen

First off congrats on your first bug report! Secondly I'm guessing that
this is a duplicate of another bug but in order to confirm you need to
click away the grey box and see if you get further ones before it gets to
the main program view. Please see here for more details:

As of Ubuntu 17.10 there is a much newer package available with many fixes and improvements. Please try it and see if the issue is resolved.
