Bug Description

To reproduce this issue install Kubuntu 12.10 Beta 2 or today daily snapshot, create text file and click on it. It will be opened in LibreOffice instead of Kate.
Issue is not reproducible in previous Kubuntu releases (for example it not reproducible in 12.04) and also in Ubuntu 12.10 (text files opened in gedit).

Talking about running wild defect scopes...

This is a regression caused by forgetting a patch when separating the kate packaging from kdesdk. Rohan could you please see to this getting fixed in quantal?
