Have you updated your graphics drivers?

What happens if you do not click on the application and just wait for a minute or two?

What hardware do you have?

Dear Rob.

I use a Intel mother board with built in graphics card. Intel core 2 Duo
processor 4 GB ram, Win 7 OS. Since I am only getting the error as I said,
I could not go further. The initial screen appears but after that the error
message appears.

With warm regards,

Core2Duo motherboard graphics will not suffice for Nightshade. You will require a dedicated nVidia or AMD/ATI card or an Intel HD2000 or newer (found on the new Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge Intel processors).
