Bug Description

Per feedback from communications, we need to remove responsive design from UX2. They decided this wasn't close to being ready for release, so better to just pull it out for now. Can we put this work on a branch and continue to work on it again in the future?

Yes, we lost the battle on this one, Carlos. Is this something you know how to do, or should I give it to Blaise?

As Nat mentions, we can do a tag just before doing this, so we can come back later if we want to and see what was there. But it's better to completely remove it rather than disable it, as it will bitrot quickly.

Actually I'm going to hand this one over to Nat. OSF needs to evaluate the quality of this and the impact it has on UX2, then decide whether we make this official by merging it (and removing the fluid layout and responsive design.)

Am I correct that Blaise just did a little work so that we could assess? I'm having trouble telling where the work was done. What should I be looking at. The only thing that jumped out to me is that the community calendar is much smaller than than it is in the version of UX2 that currently in production...

All our stuff for dev is on the dev server:

  https://karldev.gocept.com/

In this case it is:

Sorry I should have been clearer - I didn't mean the URL to test. What parts of the actual site were changed? I thought we were just doing a small amount of work as a proof of concept. Was that the case? If so, I just want to know what parts of the site to look at and what part of the site haven't had the "responsiveness" removed yet...

Blaise did work on the central thing, the main template. I don't think he did too much work on individual parts of the site.

For the most part, he's done except for bug fixing. So it can be tested on any page in the site, on any device.

Blaise, this:

https://karldev.gocept.com/1054294-ux2-remove-responsive-design/osf/communities/teste/calendar/month.html

...doesn't use the width available. Is this something you can look at, or does it need Balazs? I know the calendar has some funny rules on layout.
