Install hangs on 83% on laptop without wired connection

Like https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/35192, install hung when connecting for additional language packages.
Except I did the regular English install.
I had no wired connection, and the wireless connection on eth1 was not enabled by the installer (I think).
The resolution for me was to ifdown eth0. Then it continued at once.
Running on a Dell Precision M20 laptop.

difficult to say since i have since installed feisty on all my machines
without any problems, but then again, none had the same configuration as
the one that this bug is about.
