Bug Description

When user give the password to gtksudo, the dialog box disappear.
If the user is lucky, the application start.
Else nothing append while some seconds and finally a error box appears.

I think the ask password dialog box must not disappear but offer a visual
feedback to the user until the application start or there is an error.
Write something like "check password..." with an animation. On error, use the
same box to display it (do not open a other dialog box)

Bug 9214 is mainly about cryptic error message. This one focuses the fact the
gksu(do) windows diappears.

I think this windows must not disapears until the granted application is launched
If the pasword is incorrect :
  * try to use the same dialog box to display the error
  * set a WM hint (to inform the user if he is doning something else)
  * propose to enter again the password

I would really like it if gksudo proposed to enter the password again. What
happens now is:

* Open Synaptic
* wait 3 seconds and 39 milliseconds* before the screen gets all dark and the
gksudo dialog pops up (in Breezy this happens, not in Hoary)
* Enter password
* Wait 4 secsonds and 81 milliseconds*
* Get told you mistyped your password
* Repeat procedure

Which is not user-friendly at all. What should happen is:

* Open Synaptic
* gksudo dialog appears
* enter password
* When correct: Synaptic is launched
* When incorrect: gksudo shows 'incorrect', and allow you to enter your password
again

* Yes, I measured it with a stopwatch. And it takes long, way too long for an
AMD 64 2800+ system with 512 MB RAM.

This still happens. Even worse, the "Failed to run /usr/sbin/synaptic" looks
completely different from the gksudo dialog.

Does it still take 4 secs? It should be ~1s now (in breezy and dapper).

It takes a little bit longer than 1 second, but I was talking about the wrong
password thing.

What happens now:

* type in your password incorrectly
* wait for the application to figure that out
* restart application and repeat

What should happen

* type in your password incorrectly
* gksudo tells you it is incorrect, and lets you enter it again

This is working on gnome v2.18.1 at Feisty :-)
