Bug Description
Binary package hint: knetworkmanager
I'm using feisty on a ppc, ibook G4 machine.
Trying to connected to any password-encrypted connection, whether WEP or WPA, fails to prompt me for a password. So it doesn't connect at all. I have to use the "Connect to Other Wireless Network" option to connect.
I've tried installing Kubuntu on x86 machines, and KNetworkManager seems to work fine. So, from my limited knowledge of things, I guess this is a ppc-only problem.

Thank you for filing this bug. Are you still experiencing this problem with Gutsy or Hardy?
If so, could you post your /var/log/syslog when knetworkmanager tries and fails to connect.
