eth0 not present in /etc/network/interfaces 12.08

Hi,

ethernet is not coming up on panda board, with 12.08 devel or nano rootfs.
eth0 not present in /etc/network/interfaces.

I can't reproduce using:
- http://releases.linaro.org/12.06/ubuntu/precise-images/nano/linaro-precise-nano-20120626-237.tar.gz
- http://releases.linaro.org/12.08/ubuntu/precise-images/nano/linaro-precise-nano-20120826-361.tar.gz
- http://releases.linaro.org/12.08/ubuntu/precise-hwpacks/hwpack_linaro-lt-panda_20120826-368_armhf_supported.tar.gz

Strange: Following is the command i used to flash images to my panda board:

sudo linaro-media-create --mmc /dev/sdc --dev panda --hwpack-force-yes --hwpack /home/arm/work/boards/panda/hwpack_linaro-lt-panda-x11-base_20120826-270_armhf_supported.tar.gz --binary /home/arm/work/rootfs/linaro/linaro-precise-nano-20120826-361.tar.gz

Which obviously have the same packages that you mentioned. And when i boot panda board with this setup.. can't see eth0..

Tested again today.

version of my board is : Pandaboard Rev A1 (in case it is of any use :) )

For the Nano image, please use the hwpack_linaro-lt-panda_2012..... The lt-panda-x11-base one is to be used together with the ubuntu-desktop image.
