Bug Description

Ubuntu 12.04 precise with ppa:unity-team/sru on machine with Intel GPU

Issue: Newly opened Gedit window is not shown in Alt+Tab view. All other open applications are shown except the gedit.
This issue is reproducible if application windows are opened quickly one after the other.

Action:
- Open a couple of different applications by clicking on launcher icons for the application making sure one of the applications opened is a gedit text editor.
-Press Alt+Tab
- Observe that Gedit window is not shown in Alt-Tab view

I don't have this problem. But it could very well be due to a difference in system specs. Leaving new until someone can reproduce this.

system specs is an unrelated factor for such type of bug reports. Its more of a race siutation/dependent on very odd factors.

Week 37 - Similar issue observed on Ubuntu 12.10 Quantal with ppa:unity-team/staging

Issue: Alt+tab switcher does not show all the open applications in a workspace.

Action:
-Open a couple of different application windows
-Hold Alt
-Press Tab
Observe that any one of the open applications are not shown in alt+tab switcher.

Week 37 - This time it is the Firefox browser window which is not shown in Alt+Tab view. Repeat tests gives the same result i.e. Firefox icon not shown in Alt+Tab switcher even when there is a firefox window open in the same workspace.

Additional information - By focussing on the missing window then pressing alt+tab, the missing window now shows in the alt+tab view.

I've tested this is 13.10 and cannot observe this issue. If it is still an issue in 12.04 please feel free to mark the "status" of the bug back to "new".
