Firefox is not letting me save images.

Binary package hint: firefox

When I try to "save as" an image, like a jpg picture, it acts like it saves it, but the image is no where to be found. If it says it's being save on the "desktop" for example, it doesn't save it there. Something is definitely wrong

Do you have any download managers or other extensions installed which could modify downloading behavior? And does this happen no matter where you try to save a file?

I found out it was an installed extension, "media pirate," that was
preventing me from saving images. Once I unstalled that extension, the
problem was solved. Thanks for following up on the situation.

Problem caused by extension, not Ubuntu :-). Bug is closed.
