Please help! Extensions not working (OS X Mountain Lion)

I'm getting what looks like a very familiar error with all extensions... You know, the one about the "fantastic" lxml wrapper. I've googled it, found a bunch of gibberish about packages, lxml, python, builds, Macports, and EggBot. I've tried everything I've been able to figure out... Tried to install lxml, python, successfully installed EggBot 2.2.2.2.2.2.2.2r. Nothing. The EggBot extension even returns the same error. I have no idea what all of this stuff means; I just want my perspective extension to work! Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks so much!
