Bug Description

After waking up from suspend, Network Monitor applet doesn't show network activity of my wireless card.
I've not tested this with a wired connection.
I'm using Edgy + wifi-radar + ipw3945 driver.
I can make it to show network activity again by going to Properties, changing Name to something else (like "lo") and then going back to eth1.

This happens intermittently on my Acer with Atheros with Feisty. The wireless will be working after waking from suspend, but no activity shown. The received and sent counts are frozen. If a second Network Monitor is added to the panel at this time, it shows activity properly and counts packets.

I can confirm my original problem in Feisty, also.

The duplicate deals with logging out and in, this one is for waking up from suspend.

I have this issue, on an up-to-date Hardy distribution. When waking from suspend, the netstatus icon shows no activity when using the network. The only way to fix it is to go into properties, select a different interface, then re-select the original one, and it works.

The gnome-netstatus applet is at version 2.12.1-1ubuntu1 .
