Indeed, a upstream developer says "We are planning to add this section in the next release." on http://code.google.com/p/mozc/issues/detail?id=169#c1

but upstream issue of this specific enhancement is not registered on the tracker, as far as I see.

Would you upgrade mozc in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS when new version of mozc is released?
I guess not since 12.10 already has seemingly much newer release.
http://packages.ubuntu.com/mozc

So I'd like to fix this specific problem locally.

@Nobuhiro Iwamatsu,

Ubuntu is also in freeze(FeatureFreeze) now, it's hard to pick a new upstream release.

I will fix this issue by a small patch not a whole package from Debian.
But I will request a sync the newest version from Debian once new development version of Ubuntu opened.

Thank you for continuous work on mozc in Debian.

Brian Murray (brian-murray) wrote : Please test proposed package

Hello Ma, or anyone else affected,

Accepted mozc into precise-proposed. The package will build now and be available at http://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mozc/1.3.975.102-2ubuntu0.1 in a few hours, and then in the -proposed repository.

Please help us by testing this new package. See https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Testing/EnableProposed for documentation how to enable and use -proposed. Your feedback will aid us getting this update out to other Ubuntu users.

If this package fixes the bug for you, please change the bug tag from verification-needed to verification-done. If it does not, change the tag to verification-failed. In either case, details of your testing will help us make a better decision.

Further information regarding the verification process can be found at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/QATeam/PerformingSRUVerification . Thank you in advance!
