MetaInterfaceDriver didn't work with namespace support

these bugs being filed on meta plugin seem to imply a lack of unit tests what would have detected the need to update the metaplugin. I didn't have a chance to review the metaplugin, but I think we should look at for unit testing gaps.

Yes I agree.
Now, we are writing tests for each drivers and plugins.
So there are no tests which are applied for each plugins automatically now.
This is a reason why plugin is easy to break with upstream changes.

One another problem is plugin specific test is in the each plugin directories.
It is not executed as Unittest.

Yes, this is why we've actually filed bugs to move all plugin unit tests
that do not have plugin-specific dependencies to be moved to the main unit
tests directory, so they are run every time.
