UPDATE: in Ubuntu Quantal with no other testdrive installed
$ apt-get install testdrive-cli
...
$ testdrive
..
python ImportError: No module named xdg.BaseDirectory
$ apt-get install python-xdg
...
$ testdrive
...

in what os and what version of that OS does this happen? does it only happen if testdrive-cli is the only version of testdrive installed?
