what kind of mouse are you using, is it a standard mouse with two
buttons and a mousewheel that also acts as third button, or do you use a
different type of mouse?

Just a standard Logitech M185, which has two buttons + wheel as the third button. It works fine with all other applications that has the same zoom feature.
