Bug Description
I bought the humble bundle V and clicked through the links on various pages until the browser would open the Ubuntu Software Center with one of the games in the bundle (at the time of this writing only amnesia, sword and sorcery, limbo and bastion seem to be available in the USC). The USC page seemst to be unaware of me having purchased the game (any of them), so I click on the Buy button ("Kaufen ..." in german), a popup for the Terms of use appears which contains the following lines:
<snip>
Unable to load page
Problem occurred while loading the URL https:/
SSL handshake failed
[Try again]
</snip>
I do not use a proxy / the setting is already "None" (this is not bug #987881) and can apt-get update without any certificate warnings or errors (this is not bug #804900)
I am using the main package repository servers.

I was not logged in in the USC when I opened the page. After choosing "File -> Reinstall previous purchases" (or whatever it is in english) I was prompted with the login dialog ... a little puzzled what my account there might be, tried my launchpad login and it warked fine. USC then showed me four games from the humble bundle and after choosing any of them the "Buy ..." button now read "install". I had scwitched to the german repositories which is why the install process failed barking about dependencies to libc6. Switching back to tha main servers made that go away and it seems to be installing just fine.
Nevertheless, when not logged in I receive the "SSL handshake failed" error.
