I'm purchased computer game "Uplink" through Ubuntu Software Center and when downloading is began, the message appeared: "W:Failed to fetch https:/
Switch between servers also not conceived any results. Somebody help?

This message indicates that you get a SSL timeout after 117 seconds. This may either be a problem with launchpad that it can provide the SSL handshake fast enough or some issue with your network (or the networks in between) that interfere with the SSL connection handshake.
Could you please run (in a terminal): acquire: :https= true 2>&1 | sed 's/Authorizatio n:.*/Authorizat ion: xxx/' > /tmp/log
$ sudo apt-get update -o Debug::
and attach the file /tmp/log to this report?
