Satellites plugin: translatable default group names

The satellites pull down filter list has 16 entries. Only the first 5 are in launchpad translation strings.

Lines in [] braces are translated for Russian language for me. Lines for names of groups is untranslated because this names we get from JSON catalog.

Hi Alex,

These strings are not included in the translation in launchpad. Nothing to
test here. You mentioned that these strings come from the JSON catalog.

Question to all developers: maybe group names should be translatable?

It is a good idea from an internationalization point of view, but it will be tricky, as in the future the Satellites plug-in is supposed to let the user modify and add groups. At the same time, it's nice to have the satellites.json file as a plain text file, without Unicode encoding. (For that, one can use QUrl and its functions for percent or ACE encoding.)

In all cases, it should be done carefully, with a list of the possible problems and desired features before any code is written. I don't want to repeat the situation with the plug-in translations. ;)

The default satellite group names will be translated in the GUI in Satellites 0.8.0. The underlying strings/identifiers will remain in English, though.

As Satellites 0.8.0 makes default group names translatable, I'll mark this as "fix committed".

Any future work on localized group IDs should either reopen this bug, or better, open a new bug report and link to this one.
