Bug Description
We get a Parse error when trying to open scriblio on scribe4.indiana (high priority) and also info1.indiana (lesser priority.) We use 4 for our volunteers to scan and it would be great to get it working again.
Thanks.

Hey,
Jye did that, but now it starts up, then shuts off almost right away. We
are at a loss as to what to do.

As we didn't get any feedback, we put a new power supply, RAM,hard drive, in the toaster and re-imaged it again. It seemed fine, except for the parse error again, until we got to 8.3.10 Updating for CropAssistant. Now it is shutting off again.!
Prior to this we made a new re-image disk and re-downloaded the required flash drive download. We are going to try to reimage again and stop at 8.3.10 and wait for you to check it out, unless you have a better idea.
We would like to get this scribe going as it has been 3 weeks that it has been down and we need it.
Your help is much appreciated.

What exactly does the parse error say? Likely it is malformation of the

I can't tell you that as it now shuts down during re-imaging. Will try
again tomorrow.

Shutting down is definitely strange, I don't know what could be causing
that. If you turn it on tomorrow we can ssh in and take a look around.

Jude,
Right now scribe 4 indiana is on and i will not push code or install
autocrop until you have a look. The problems appear to be when we push
code and after.
Let me know.
Thanks,

Hey jeff, this usually happens when the scribe.xml file has been deleted or emptied somehow. If you copy the scribe.xml from another scribe and edit it according to the rules in the Reimaging PDS it should correct it.
