Inkscape 0.48+devel r11374+patch, Adwaita/Clearlooks theme:
1) AFAICT (tested with different themes) the larger initial (minimal) size of the color wheel now forces a larger minimal height of the dialog (most noticeable in the 'Stroke style' tab, where it adds additional unused white space at the bottom). Possibly somewhat related to bug #687655.
2) Maybe the spacing/padding between the tabs-turned-into-buttons (RGB | HSL | CMYK | Wheel | CMS) could be reduced a bit to achieve a grouping closer to a 'Toggle button group'?

OK v2 attached, have reduced the size of the radio buttons and some other padding to bring the overall size much closer to the original.

In the wiki you said "Give both a unit and put them after the quantity" about blur and opacity sliders. If I remember correctly there was a discussion about this and blur is based on the object current size so is not based on pixels. I think this was made so blur is proportional to size.

I've just checked and it is true. Maybe adding "%" or "% of size" would be enough?
