Hi, I have the same problem. At 9.10 everything works fine.
But at 10.04, my onboard don't work anymore!
I need to plug an external one.
But even it still VERY slow and inconstant..

Laptop: Toshiba Satellite 5105-S701
Onboard: Texas Instruments PCI1410 PC card Cardbus Controller (rev 01)
Plugged: USB Realtek Semiconductor Corp. RTL8187B Wireless 802.11g 54Mbps Network Adapter

Any help??
