Comment 28 for bug 1243551

Looks like maxConnectionAge=0 does the trick, 12 hours in production and zero transient connection errors.

If this trend holds 0.8.1-snapshot may therefore not be necessary, only turning off max connection age.

Of course, the prepared statement cache fix seems reason enough to upgrade.

Will post back if transient connection issue is indeed solved, looking good so far
