Bug Description

When editing a post, change the mode to HTML and then publish it, the encoding is published all messed up. That is, when using, for example, the character "é", it shows some crazy random characters. Here's a screenshot: http://fotos.sapo.pt/ez4tR80Ue1gGP9gYtOoA/

That also happens when listing posts and so on.

Hmm, I cannot understand the problem.
And don't know what should i see on this screenshot, You said that if you change editing mode to html, and then publish post, some characters (I think their Spanish) are changed to something wrong.

If you move back to visual editor, the text is ok!? or its corrupted!?

Could you give me a text that has problem there! for some tests!?
Because I have used some texts from wikipedia, and this char "é" but cannot find any problem :-/

More screenshots may help more ;)

I'm using a livejournal based platform.

Now, it seems it's not screwing up the encoding with new posts, but only with existing ones, as you will be able to see with the following screencast: http://blip.tv/file/2567947

LJ, So you should use Blogger1.0 API.

We had a problem like this on previous releases (that was with Russian) I think that I have fixed this bug for "version 1.0"
That problem was on fetching post! I mean, the post was submit well, and was ok on server, but not ok on client!

Here is the thread: http://bilbo.gnufolks.org/forum/topic/hey-there#post-102

Make sure that you are using latest version 1.0 released pkg/src! And If it's that problem, should work well! (Clear your current post list, and refetch them...)

Let me know if problem still exists.

:-/ Here is my test LJ blog: http://mtux.livejournal.com/
Published some Spanish texts (whatever I don't know what those mean :D)
And cannot see any problem!

So, we need more clear info about "what do you do!?" and what do you get!?

If you send post from visual editor (without changing to html) is there any problem!?

On this video i don't see any problem on moving between visual and html editor. just previously fetched posts has problem.

"but only with existing ones"
Existing ones are saved on your system! you need to clear them (there is a clear button under list)

You said that new posts haven't any problem! So fetching previous posts shouldn't have any problem too :-/

And do the sent post is ok on server or not!?

And any other info you think may help :D

I already cleaned the posts, but when I fetch them again the encoding remains screwed up.

When sending a new post, yes, everything is ok. But when republishing, no.

I tried to compile Bilbo with debug option active, but me and cmake don't get each other.
