Nice to see this has been fixed ! ... Maybe I'm too late to respond your questions, but here they go:

... Is that the only time that this bug happens? Yes. It's directly related to that event and doesn't happen otherwise.

...Does the bug only happen when those error messages are shown, and does it only affect the files listed? That's correct !

Do you use a non-ext formatted hard drive by any chance? No, I don't. I only use ext4 partitions to store my data.

PS: Haven't tested the latest branch yet. I'm doing so today to get the fix. Thank you :D
