Confirmed with a Dell Latitude D610 Laptop, among other big bugs - like HAL not working - and minor troubles.

Booted in Recovery Mode and executed GDM for Gnome to work. Also I corrected the /etc/usplash.conf file and seems like it works.

The strangest thing is that during Live-CD boot I can rembemer it detected my display correctly...
