To add to previous post: The router is a Linksys WRT160N. When you configure the router so that the transmission speed is 1-2 Mbps (for use with wireless technology, old and not "All", which the router can transmit at all speeds wireless) connection improves and The Atheros responds faster and no packets are lost.

Para agregar al post anterior: El router es un Linksys WRT160N. Cuando configuro el router para que la velocidad de transmisión sea de 1-2 Mbps (para su uso con tecnología inalámbrica antigua, y NO con "Todas", con la que el router puede transmitir a todas las velocidades inalámbricas) la conexión mejora notablemente y la atheros responde más rapidamente y no se pierden paquetes.
