Could you check if Arista still crashes while ripping DVDs on latest Ubuntu 12.04 LTS?

Also make sure, that Live Preview is disabled, see http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=647878 (Scans DVD, then hangs on live preview)
