Bug Description

The entry in the boot menu should read "Ubuntu" or "Kubuntu" possibly with version. When uninstalling we should only detect the presence of wubildr/wubildr.mbr/wubildr.exe

The boot menu title is selectable via version.nsh. But different distros are not supported since wubi works in single-boot mode by default.

There is line: !define BootMenuTitle "Ubuntu-Linux"

It seems latest Wubi installer and wubi-cdboot.exe from bzr (rev385) doesn't change this line when I choose different distro, for example Kubuntu during installation - so, Windows boot menu entry always is "Ubuntu-Linux".
This bugreport is about *automatic* writing selected distro version (Ubuntu,Kubuntu,Xubuntu,UbuntuStudio,Baltix, etc) and, if possible, distro release, into Windows Boot menu (boot.ini file).
So, why you set Status of this bug to "Fix committed" ? Maybe you committed fix in different branch of wubi (I've tested with gutsy branch)

Not really automatic, you have to edit "version.nsh" to change it, that's okish for now, but I agree that setting the menu title automatically might be better.
