Sorry for flooding, I'm writing as soon as I discover something new.
When I said "today, no snapshot was taken" I was not quite right: having BIT back to normal, I now see that today it has taken some snapshots until 7 pm, then stopped. At that time I must have switched off the system and for sure I've turned it on again at around 9 pm or so. From that moment on no new snapshot was taken (it should every hour).
So, for some obscure reason, sometimes unlocking the SSH key works, sometimes it does not...

Please note I still don't have python3-secretstorage installed, because I could not yet understand if it's really needed or not.
