Bug Description

This is a follow up bug to the patch provided in; https://bugs.launchpad.net/ayatana-ubuntu/+bug/599844

The patch is *likely* to leak, but a problem exists in freeing or unrefing each allocated resource. Particularly strange and very difficult to debug.

A good way to debug this is required before any real work can be done.
