Bug Description

The Keyboard Shortcuts overly says:
Ctrl + Super + Down Restores/minimises the current window

On my machine:
Ctrl + Super + Down restores the window okay, but never succeeds in minimising it.

affects: unity → compiz (Ubuntu)

The latest version of Unity says in the shortcut overlay:
Alt + F10 Opens the indicator menu
which is correct.

However I can confirm that Ctrl+Super+Down does not minimize anything.

Yes the overlay says Alt + F10 should maximise the current window, but on my computer it does not do this. Instead it opens the app's global-menu.

I second what Ben said, and Ctrl+Super+Down does't minimize windows, only restores them.

Control+Super+Down is only bound to unmaximize_window_key (/usr/share/compiz/core.xml). So it will only restore windows and never minimize them. To compiz, those are never the same key combination.

Either the shortcut overlay is simply wrong, or unity is completely missing a feature that the design team intended should work.
