Bug Description

A problem with multi-select is that you can't easily distinguish which category an app belongs to.

Filter Multi-select:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ayatana-design/+bug/841847

Desirable resolution:

- Visual separation (in this case by the categories chosen):

An example of visual separation is Alan Bell's view:

https://code.launchpad.net/~alanbell/+junk/appmenu-lens

- The example above shows all the categories (or choosing "Show All" in the filter), but it can be set to filter the ones the user wants.
